I filmed this video while waiting for a bus to leave the COP21 conference late one night in Paris. The slight breeze was sufficient to spin the many VAWT (vertical axis wind turbines) on these two artificial trees. I want one of these trees on my roof in Ottawa!!

Ex-Archbishop of Canterbury on climate dangers // Published on Jan 10, 2016

Rowan Williams was the Archbishop of Canterbury who married Prince William and Kate Middleton in the UK, and he presided over 85 million Anglicans. Just prior to this COP21 Paris press conference I updated him over snacks on the latest science of Arctic temperature amplification from sea ice and snow cover collapse, jet stream changes causing extreme weather whiplashing and the enormous methane release risks.

Spookiness at Oslo Airport // Published on Jan 10, 2016

After my Paris COP21 adventure I was in Norway for a week, and to catch a morning flight I decided on an all-nighter at the Oslo Airport. As I walked around the airport I saw this circle marked out on the floor. Being a curious science and engineering geek, I stood in the middle of the circle. What happened next, is amazing and captured on film. Make sure you have the audio on, or you will not think anything happened:)

I was in Toronto last Boxing Day (December 26th) to see a pantomime and to discuss the COP21 Paris pantomime. I talk about my 2015 year-end thoughts on the climate system in this friendly chat in the dead-centre of Nathan Phillips square in the heart of Toronto, Canada.
